The ability to lead people is, perhaps, the single most important skill for any professional to master. That is precisely what the Marine Corps teaches, which is why very few people- male or female- have what it takes to become a Marine Officer. But what an opportunity that presents for you to become a world-class leader. Establish yourself as a strong officer in the Marine Corps and you'll be recognized as such- respected by your peers and equipped to succeed at everything you do.
There are many advantages to becoming an officer in the Marine Corps. Some are more apparent than others, but all will set you apart from your friends and classmates. You will know without a doubt that you can lead. You can adapt. And you will know taht desire overcomes limitation. Those are intangibles that people who have never been a Marine Officer don't easily understand.
Opportunities for women exist across all three disciplines of the Marine Corps- Ground, Air, and Law. You'll undergo the same intense training regimen as every other Marine because the expectations will be the same. Then, having mastered the physical, mental and moral components required of all officers, you'll lead Marines in the field.
